Going further into the 2026 session, former Auburn Coach Jeff Graba will be handling business at the WCGA as the newly appointed Executive Director.

“We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Jeff Graba as our new Executive Director,” said Casey Jo MacPherson, Chair of the WCGA Board of Directors. “As our Board of Directors began discussions of hiring a new Executive Director… it was clear that Jeff would be a tremendous asset in this space.”

Graba coached Auburn for 16 seasons, leading the Tigers to 14 regional appearances. Also, three NCAA Championship appearances, including a Final Four finish in 2022. He ended his tenure in 2026.

As WCGA’s new executive director, Graba will focus on three pillars: growing attendance, securing corporate partnerships, and expanding membership. And MacPherson weighed in on it.

“The many connections he has across various groups and organizations within the gymnastics community will be an integral part of achieving what we are striving for,” added MacPherson. “We can’t wait to get started with him alongside us!” 

How Graba Plans to Elevate WCGA

The 57-year-old has also outlined how he’ll carry forward the aforementioned executions, to what degree, and why they matter.

“My primary focus will be to champion our incredible coaches, protect and expand our competitive programs. And ensure that our student-athletes continue to have safe, equitable, and elite educational and athletic opportunities,” said Graba.

The new executive director also admitted that collegiate gymnastics is experiencing an era of growth, visibility, and fan engagement on an unmatched level.

Hence, he'll be working with the associates closely, pursuing new corporate partnerships to elevate WCGA's national profile.
