While a dramatic set of events reunited Joscelyn Roberson with her ex-coaches, Cecile Landi and Laurent Landi, Simone Biles' latest remark proved she’s not any less excited either.

This May 21, Roberson’s transfer announcement to the Georgia GymDogs confirmed that the Landis are her endgame, with Cecile being recently named the program’s head coach. And as she shared the news on Instagram, Biles chimed in.

“The gang is back together again,” wrote Biles. In the post, Roberson could be seen posing with the Landis, holding a placard that read, “The gang’s all here! Go Dawgs.”

Roberson’s first encounter with the coaches took place before her collegiate career, at the World Champions Centre. Their training was an essential part of her selection as a traveling alternate for the 2024 Paris Olympic team.

In fact, Biles herself trained with the Landis since 2017, following the 2016 Rio Games. The couple trained her through the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, the 2023 World Championship, and the 2024 Paris Olympics.

So, with the Landis, Roberson will bring out the best of herself. And just like Biles, the coach herself expressed excitement about this reunion.

Cecile Landi Is “Excited” to Train Joscelyn Roberson Again

Roberson will be joining the GymDogs with a list of accolades, including two All-American honors, 2023 World Championships and Pan American Championships’ gold medals. And Cecile couldn’t be any happier.

"Joscelyn brings so much talent, leadership, and positivity to a team," she said. "Being reunited with her means a lot. And I'm excited to work together again to help her and the Georgia GymDogs continue reaching new heights."

Roberson stated that her transfer decision wasn’t influenced by the Landis being at Georgia. But it goes without saying that the existing relationship provides a familiarity advantage. The Landis will be doing what they once did with Biles, shaping a great to greatness.

Do you think the coaches will be able to push Roberson to the same ceiling as they did to Biles? Let us know in the comments.
