Jonathan Owens Shows Support for Simone Biles Venture Amid Her Serious Health Scare

There are several reasons why gymnastics icon Simone Biles and NFL star Jonathan Owens are couple goals. And once again, he didn’t hesitate to prove it.
Amid the hard time Biles has been going through, Owens recently showed up at her restaurant, Taste of Gold, at the George Bush Intercontinental Airport. His heartwarming support was reflected in his Instagram story posted on June 8, 2026.
“Know I had to check the restaurant out,” wrote the Indianapolis Colts Safety, with a photo of the neatly decorated restaurant.
This special gesture came following the week Biles revealed experiencing a near-death event.

Earlier in the week, Biles shared the news through her Instagram story. Without disclosing the matter, the Olympic medalist weighed in on the severity of it, admitting she had been on bed rest.
“I'm not one to normally share things like this because I value privacy in today's age. But almost dying wasn't on my bingo card earlier this week,” she wrote. “This was one of, if not the scariest, experience of my life… “I've been in bed resting this week, I'll explain sooner or later…”
In a moment like this, Owens’ support must’ve felt like a fresh breeze. However, it hasn’t been the only time he has supported Biles like this.
Jonathan Owens Always Supported Simone Biles
From restaurant visits to cheering at the Olympics, Owens has done it all. In 2024, before Biles made a historic comeback at the Paris Games, the NFL star missed mandatory training camp to cheer on her.
"Just because we respect the Olympics," then-head coach of the Chicago Bears, Matt Eberflus, told ESPN. “That is a big deal. And he’s just supporting the one he loves the most. And I think that’s so cool that he gets to do that.”
To Owens, Biles is a warrior. The world may have cheered for the gymnastics icon’s elite athleticism, resilience, and stardom at every point, but Owens surely remains the biggest supporter of all.
