Jordan Chiles Gives Honest Message to US Gymnastics Team As Olympic Participation Remains Uncertain

There are moments in sports when everything looks normal from the outside, but clarity is still missing. That’s the case around Jordan Chiles, with her next Olympic appearance still uncertain.
But even with that uncertainty looming, Chiles sent out a message for U.S. Gymnastics for the next Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.
“I know it's something that might be very stressful, but I think having the opportunity to make memories, enjoy the village, do whatever you need to do to understand that this is a lifelong dream that you've always wanted", she told People. “It's always fun once you get there.”
Chiles also said US gymnastics should just “do you,” “have fun,” and “enjoy the process.”

Jordan Chiles is a two-time Olympian and was part of the U.S. team that won gold in the team event at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Along with that, she contributed to multiple international team performances, including World Championship appearances in which the U.S. consistently finished on the podium.
Jordan Chiles has been part of US Gymnastics since 2013. At the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, she stepped in after Simone Biles withdrew, helping the US team secure the silver medal.
She also made history in 2021 by becoming the first female gymnast to win the Winter Cup all-around title.
She is often referred to as a “go-to hype woman” by teammates. At Paris 2024, she competed while adjusting to the Olympic Village routine of training, recovery, and competition.
While her achievements with the US team are already well known, the focus now shifts to what’s next.
What Comes Next for Jordan Chiles
Looking ahead, Chiles’ focus for the rest of the year is to “be as peaceful as possible.”
She said she’s “just allowing myself to really process everything that I've done so far and just being grateful and thankful for every opportunity that I have been given.”
The gymnast recently joined the Dancing with the Stars tour as a special guest.
“I felt like I was an entertainer. I'm really excited about that and that I get to see Ezra again,” she said of her dance partner on the show. “That's my guy. I love him so much and he's been doing such an amazing job on the tour, so can't wait to be back with him.”
For now, her next Olympic participation remains unconfirmed, with questions over a possible LA 2028 appearance. In her interview, Chiles avoided a clear yes-or-no answer.
