Between her wrapping up her stellar collegiate career with the UCLA Bruins at the NCAA Championship in April and walking the commencement ceremony in June, the Olympic champion, Jordan Chiles, is making her every second count with her UCLA teammates, who have become her family.

Recently, Chiles shared a post on Instagram, titled “ perfect night with perfect people” from her friend Nola Mathew's account. 

The post included a beach sunset photo, capturing the close bond Chiles shared with her UCLA squad, Matthews, Katelyn Rosen, and Ciena Alipio.

The images shared by Chiles share candid moments of how they are trying to set the bonfire on the beach with everyone playing and celebrating their sisterhood in the post. The twilight backdrop, along with their striking poses near the shoreline, and carefree laughter, all prove the deep friendship they all have.

But the beach was not the only catch-up Chiles had with her people; she was also spotted with her UCLA squad at the Pauley Pavilion. The University hosted a Student-Athlete Awards Banquet titled “A Night of Championship Excellence” to honor the outstanding achievements of the Bruins.

As shared by Inside Gymnastics on Instagram, Chiles and the UCLA squad were spotted on the blue carpet, radiating in vibrant color with Chiles choosing a bold look in black. Making the night more special, Chiles received the prestigious Florence Griffith Joyner award from the UCLA Black Alumni.

Her sharp-suited, sleek look took away the honor home in the presence of her ultimate support system. With all the accolades she received during her four years at UCLA, the favourite part of her journey will always be sharing the moment with her Bruin family.

Her celebration with her squad at the beach and the award night highlight that her four-year journey at UCLA was not just about medals but also about the deep sisterhood bond she shared that helped her leave a historic legacy at UCLA.

Jordan's Career at UCLA

As Chiles moves from her collegiate career to the next chapter, her legacy at UCLA will be remembered for a very long time.

She is leaving a legacy that has four individual NCAA titles and a career's 19 perfect 10s on the apparatus, where one is for vault, six on bars, and 12 on floor. She holds an ultimate record of 131 individual victories as a Bruin, along with claiming the All-American title twenty-three times. Her sheer dominance has led her to win the 2026 AAI awards, which are presented to the nation's top senior gymnast.

Two-time Olympian, Chiles has captured silver in Tokyo and gold and bronze in Paris Games, making her a legendary elite gymnast in the world. Now, with all her achievements, the world is eagerly waiting to see her in the upcoming Olympics to further cement her legacy in the gymnastics world.
