It's been only a short while since 2x Olympic medalist Jordan Chiles capped her collegiate career. But is she looking to elongate the medal count with the upcoming 2028 LA Games?

“Just taking it day-by-day, month-by-month, see how everything turns out…” she told PEOPLE in an exclusive interview on June 23. “LA28 is always in my mind, I can say that. If I do this Olympic Games, I want to do it my way, I want to understand my why. It's not a no, it's not a yes, I'm still fifty-fifty.”

At 25, Chiles just finished her UCLA run with multiple NCAA accolades. By LA28, she'll be 27, the same age gymnastics phenom Simone Biles was when she won four medals in the 2024 Paris Games.

However, Chiles is keeping it a fifty-fifty. If anything, she is willing to explore other things, like being a New York Times best-selling author, a latest BET awards nominee, or just planning a vacation she never could while doing her sport.

“I don't know what 25-year-old Jordan is going to be doing,” she told PEOPLE further. “I do have a few vacations planned. And I haven't gone on vacation literally since I started my sport. So, finally having relaxation is definitely something I'm very, very happy about.”

For now, Chiles is keeping her Olympic door open, but only if the timing and circumstances feel right. However, there’s something specific she surely wants to do.

Jordan Chiles Wants to Make a Hollywood Debut

Growing up with the sport that pushes the limits of human physics, Chiles would easily consider gymnasts superheroes. In fact, ask her to name a favorite and she’ll say Spider-Man. But now, it’s about more than just liking the movies.

“I do want to act; I want to go into the acting world. As a stunt double, as a voice actor, or just a character that I get to be a part of and create,” she revealed in the same interview. “I love Marvel and just superheroes themselves.”

“I still think I'm a superhero because the things that we do in gymnastics don't make sense,” she added, “but hey, it's what we do.”

A break from gymnastics will allow Chiles to explore her other ambitions. What Marvel role do you think suits her the best? Let us know in the comments.
