On the mats, there’s only a little that gymnastics star Jordan Chiles hasn’t achieved. And her recent revelation highlighted that she’s ready to take her ambitions off the mats, too.

Freshly done with her 4-year tenure at UCLA Bruins, the 25-year-old, 2x Olympic medalist has been a 2025 Dancing with the Stars finalist. But now, she's eager to make a bigger on-screen appearance.

“I do want to act, I want to go into the acting world,” she told PEOPLE in an exclusive interview, published on June 23, 2026. “As a stunt double, as a voice actor, or just a character that I get to be a part of and create.”

Growing up with the sport that defies physics a little too often, Chiles would easily consider gymnasts superheroes. In fact, ask her to name a favorite and she’ll say Spider-Man. But now, it’s about more than just liking the movies.

“I know that's crazy to say, but I love Marvel and just superheroes themselves,” she added. “I still think I'm a superhero because the things that we do in gymnastics don't make sense, but hey, it's what we do.”

An acting career shouldn’t be hard for Chiles, as she's already accustomed to cameras. But what about her endeavors on the mats?

Jordan Chiles Weighs Her Olympic Future

With multiple NCAA accolades and an Olympic gold and silver, Chiles will be 27 by the time of the LA Games. The same age as Simone Biles when the gymnastics phenom clinched 4 medals at the 2024 Paris Games. So, there are some cautious measures.

“Just taking it day-by-day, month-by-month, see how everything turns out…” she told PEOPLE in the same interview. “LA28 is always in my mind, I can say that. If I do this Olympic Games, I want to do it my way, I want to understand my why. It's not a no, it's not a yes, I'm still fifty-fifty.”

Moreover, given that Olympic star Jade Carey announced her elite comeback after 2 years, and former UCLA gymnast Katelyn Ohashi returned after 7 years, Chiles' return at 27 is quite plausible.

But the question is, will she? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
