The two-time World gold medalist Leanne Wong announced a very different career milestone Thursday. The achievement comes as Wong balances a master's degree and medical school prerequisites while in her final season with Gators Gymnastics.

In her latest Instagram post, Wong revealed that she's now a "Licensed Florida Real Estate Sales Associate," after passing the exam on her first attempt.

"Final semester & season w/ gators gym ~> 2x 🐊🎓 & florida real estate sales associate," she wrote in the caption of her April 30 post.

She is among the 15 gymnasts to achieve the “Gym Slam,” in the NCAA, scoring a perfect 10.0 in all four events with the Florida Gators. During the 2026 season, she was also a student assistant coach and helped them win the 2026 SEC Championships.

However, gymnastics and becoming a real estate agent aren't the only things Leanne Wong has been pursuing. She has managed to build her businesses, namely Leanne Wong Bowtique and LW Sip Shop

The Paris 2024 alternate also has a book to her name, 'My Journey: Trust the Process', which was published in 2024. The Leanne Wong Foundation is an initiative from her to reduce food waste and insecurity.

Leanne Wong finds it surreal that people look up to her

In an interview with The Independent Florida Alligator two months ago, Leanne Wong spoke about changes in her thought process from being a gymnast to a student assistant coach during the Gators’ 2026 season.

“I was always so focused on what I needed to do. Now I get to sit back and watch, and I’m like ‘Wow, that was an amazing podium training,’” said Wong.

“I’ve kind of seen myself as a mentor for the younger ones. It’s still crazy to think people are looking up to me,” Wong said during the interview.

The 22-year-old also talked about how this transition flipped her lifestyle. “It’s different... being on campus, going to school, but not being on the team. It’s cool to see everything from a different perspective,” she explained.

Also, after finding success as a gymnast in Florida and for the national team, Wong relished the opportunity to help the next generation of competitors.
