Simone Biles’ ESPYs Fashion Moment Once Had Her Sister Adria Talking

The 2025 ESPY Awards night saw several superstar athletes show up in glamorous fits, but Olympic gymnast Simone Biles turned quite a few heads with her incredible outfit. The 12-time Olympic medalist garnered reactions online, but none more prominent than that of her own sister, Adria Biles.
Held on July 16, 2025, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, Biles showed up to the ESPY Awards in a shimmering purple-navy dress. This drew a very excited response from her sister, who reposted the image on her story, with a very passionate caption, per a July 20, 2025, report by Athlon Sports.
“Stunning gorgeous beautiful I wanna k*** yewwwww cutie b******* sister girl,” she wrote.

Simone Biles went on to win the ‘Best Female Athlete ESPY’ award as well as the ‘Best Championship Performance’ award for 2025.
The dress is special as it was fashioned from an Athleta Transcend Open Back Tee, according to the Athlon article. Designer Zac Posen collaborated with Athleta to reimagine the t-shirt as a full-length gown for the Olympian.
Adria’s excitement was valid, as Biles looked stunning in the dress while winning these prestigious awards.
The sisters share a special bond, having spent time in foster homes together for three years. The siblings were adopted by their maternal grandparents, Ronald and Nellie Biles.
Adria followed her older sister’s gymnastics legacy and trained in the sport for a decade. She ended up competing at the junior elite level before finally dropping gymnastics in 2016.
While Adria’s reaction to Simone Biles’ dress went viral, this is not the first time the Olympic champion has made a fashion statement.
Simone Biles Iconic Looks Over The Years
Simone Biles is no stranger to throwing on iconic fits. Her outfits always cater to the event, captivating photographers and fans alike.
During the 2023 US Gymnastics Championships, Biles bagged her eighth national all-around title. She achieved this feat while being decked out in a custom leotard by GK Elite. The leotard was bedazzled with crystals. It had her name and the GK logo on her left hip.
Biles has also been spotted at numerous NFL games, sporting her fashion skills. 2022 saw the Texas native in an oversized NFL jersey, paired with denim shorts and white shoes, supporting the Houston Texans, a team her now-husband, Jonathan Owens, has previously played for.
Biles also wore a custom, blue fur jacket with Owens’ image and jersey number on the back on December 14, 2025. Earlier, in November 2025, she also wore a custom track suit, with “Owens” stitched across the back of the pants. She wore it to an NFL game to support her husband.
Biles clearly has no shortage of show-stopping outfits that will keep fans and her sister in awe through the years.
