Despite her on-floor inactivity, gymnastics icon Simone Biles proved why she’s deemed the greatest ever, and Argentine fans couldn’t have agreed more.

The 11x Olympic medalist has been away from the mats since her gold-winning run at the 2024 Paris Games. But in October 2025, she visited Buenos Aires, Argentina, to host a 2-day gymnastics clinic, encouraging a great number of young gymnasts, coaches and parents.

“Simone Biles made some dreams come true,” Hello! Canada Magazine posted on Instagram on June 25, 2026, as a throwback to the October 2025 visit. “The most decorated gymnast in history, 29, paying a visit to Argentina in October to host a massive gymnastics clinic for thousands of young girls.”

The video captured the surreality of the moment beautifully. The young athletes almost couldn’t believe they were meeting THE Simone Biles, and many ended up crying. Many thanked the gymnast for visiting their country, expressing their love in heartfelt words.

During her visit, Biles took the floor, fielding questions, demonstrating techniques and sharing insights before delivering a speech on how sports transform lives.

While the massive crowd and young gymnasts were completely swooned by her, the online fans weren’t any different.

Online Fans Celebrated Biles' Mentorship Beyond the Medals

Biles' 11 Olympic and 30 World Championship medals are unprecedented, so is her status as the greatest gymnast of the era. But in the Instagram comments, fans praised her clinic interactions even more.

“The greatest ever,” wrote one fan. Another echoed the same sentiment, “Legend, so good at it. Fantastic, loved watching her.”

At the 2020 Tokyo Games, Biles withdrew from several events to prioritise her mental and physical health. Her bravery and resilience changed the trajectory of the sport, which often prioritized a gruelling system of pressure and competition. No wonder the GOAT status is the best suited for her.

“The GOAT,” wrote a fan, calling Biles the Greatest of All Time. Another added, “Oh yeah, Simone Biles!” “Beautiful,” concluded a fan, rightfully.

Greatness isn’t always measured by medals and accolades. And a look at Biles proves that sometimes, it’s just the trailblazing moments of bravery, resilience, and approach that transform a great into the greatest.
