While addressing the audience in the video, Simone Biles candidly asked, “With the stylist fee, hair and makeup team, my grand total is…any guesses? Probably higher than what you're thinking. Keep going. Yeah, $22,000. Actually, $23,000”.

Seeing such a high expense shocked her, and she started asking people if this was normal. She openly asked the public whether such charges are common for celebrities.

“I just wanna know, what is that? I just wanna know, I just wanna know, is that f****** normal? But baby, if that's normal, I get inflation, like, I get prices these days have gone up.”

Simone Biles joked she might avoid future red carpet events if such high costs become standard.

“If that's the new norm, y'all can have it. Y'all will never see me at another event. I'm a stay my a** right here.”
