The most decorated gymnast of all time, Simone Biles, always makes time for personal things that matter a lot to her. On Friday, she gave the fans a sneak peek of her personal life, celebrating the wedding of their friends.

Biles posted a carousel of photos on Instagram from the wedding of Chicago Bears cornerback Jaylon Jones and his wife Jaden, with husband Jonathan Owens by her side for the celebration. She kept it simple, saying "love getting to dress up & celebrate sweet friends," in the caption.

The images captured the intimate details of the evening. One image showed Biles and Owens posing outside the warmly lit venue, Biles in a blush pink gown, Owens in a tan suit, holding hands.

The second photo captured the couple alongside the newlyweds inside the reception. Another photo showed Biles with a group of friends, all dressed for the occasion.

Jaden Jones responded in the comments almost immediately, saying, "love you. tysm for coming."

The Chicago Bears connection that brought both couples together

The friendship between Simone Biles, Jonathan Owens, and the newlyweds Jaylon and Jaden Jones runs directly through the NFL.

Owens signed with the Chicago Bears in 2023, where Jaylon Jones has been building his career as a cornerback.

Although Owens later moved to the Indianapolis Colts, they remained friends despite the team changes

Simone Biles, who married Jonathan Owens in April 2023, became part of their group organically.

Although the NFL world and the gymnastics world don't overlap often, Owens has been a bridge between two of the biggest sports in America.

Simone Biles, with 41 major international medals, is the most decorated gymnast in history. She has won 11 Olympic medals, including seven gold medals.

She is currently on a break from the sport to recover following the 2024 Paris Olympics. But she recently stated that she is about "50-50" on competing in the LA 2028 Olympic Games.
