Just days after a concerning health scare left fans worried, Simone Biles is showing signs of a strong recovery. The American gymnast took to social media on Saturday, June 13, to share some photos of her latest vacation.

The 29-year-old underwent a massive health scare earlier this month, but fortunately, she has managed to recover well from it. Biles, along with her travel companion, husband Jonathan Owens, sent out a few Instagram stories with photos to give their fans a timeline of how the vacation began.

Firstly, Owens posted a photo of the custom-made watches of himself and his wife, Biles, from the Swiss luxury brand Audemars Piguet, captioning the Instagram story, “His and Hers 😎.” A couple of hours after that, Biles had put up the same custom-made watches on her Instagram story alongside a couple of bags.

She confirmed their plan to go on a vacation with the post caption, “a baecation is needed ❤️‍🔥.”

Around the same time, Owens shared a selfie with her on Instagram stories while they were seated on their flight, which included three airplane emojis.

After they landed at the place of their vacation, Biles sent out a story with a photo of a tranquil ocean with deep blue and turquoise water, alongside cloudy skies in the background. She captioned her post, “do not disturb, please & thank you,” suggesting her need for peace and privacy during the vacation.

While these two didn’t confirm the place for their vacation, it looked like quite an exotic location for the couple to take their mind off the difficult time they've been through recently.

For Biles, it may be a well-deserved break after she revealed earlier this month that she went through a serious health scare.

What Exactly Happened To Simone Biles’ Health Earlier This Month?

On June 6, Simone Biles shared an Instagram story with a photo in which her arm was wrapped in patient identification wristbands. She accompanied the post with a lengthy caption about getting admitted to the hospital and her subsequent health status.

“I'm not one to normally share things like this because I value privacy in today's age,” Biles wrote. “But almost dying wasn't on my bingo card earlier this week.”

Biles went through “one of, if not the scariest experiences of [her] life" when her husband Jonathan Owens was away at work. She also gave her promise to the fans to provide a further explanation about the health scare in due course.

“I've been in bed resting this week; I'll explain sooner or later, but s/o to my close circle who reached out, checked in, visited & or sent flowers. Loooovveeee y'all,” Biles ended her Instagram story.

Shortly after, she sent out another Instagram story of lying on the bed with her two dogs, with her live heart rate of 126 bpm.

Now that Biles has gone on a vacation with Owens, she is seemingly feeling better with her health. It will definitely put her fans at ease after witnessing their favorite go through a scare like that recently.
