Simone Biles and Rachel Roettger have been best friends since they were six years old. They first met in a gymnastics class in Texas, and the bond has only grown stronger over the years.

Now, with Rachel expecting her first baby, Simone is making sure her bestie feels loved every step of the way. Rachel is reportedly due to give birth to baby Raven Skye in July 2026.

To celebrate, Simone organized a sweet "berry-themed" baby shower for her. And the gymnastics icon shared the special moments on Instagram for everyone to see.

Biles posted multiple pictures from the shower with a heartfelt caption. "my bestfriend is the sweetest momma to be ❤️🍓," she wrote.

In the pictures, Biles looked absolutely gorgeous in a red dress. She posed alongside Rachel and their other friends, with pastel pink balloons in the background.

Rachel was clearly emotional after seeing the post. "LOVE YOU S ❤️ thanks for spoiling my entire family 🥹," she wrote in the replies.

She added a sweet note about the future too. "can't wait for you to meet raven skye ❤️🥹," Rachel added.

Biles also shared the post on her Instagram Stories with another loving message. "baby R is so lucky to have you as her mom," she wrote.

In the next story, Biles got nostalgic. She shared a throwback picture of the two of them practicing gymnastics together as kids.

Rachel reposted Biles' message on her own IG stories with a heartfelt note. "I LOVE MY BESTFRIEND SO MUCH. So thankful for your selfless heart. Raven is so lucky to have you in her life," she wrote.

The cake also got a special shoutout. "STILL not over this cake that Simone Biles surprised me with. Literally the cake of my dreams," Rachel wrote alongside a video of the berry-themed treat.

Simone Biles Buys a New Car for Her Best Friend

The baby shower was not the only big surprise from Simone. Just before that, she gifted Rachel something even bigger.

Rachel, who married Drake Roettger in 2023, took to Instagram to share the moment. In the first photo, she stood in a garage beside a brand-new white Hyundai Palisade SEL FW.

A large pink ribbon was stretched across the hood of the car. Right next to her was Simone, proudly holding her baby bump.

Rachel's caption said it all. "get you a bestfriend like mine 😜💗 which SB surprised me w/ my dream mom car 🥹 forever thankful for YOU. 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾 xo," she wrote.

Simone replied in the comments with, "love youuuu sm." Rachel quickly wrote back, "love you back."

The car is valued at around $41,339. Biles also shared parts of the moment on her Instagram Stories.

In one, she was seen signing the car with the caption, "buying my best friend a car." In another, she posed next to the SUV and wrote, "truly blessed to be able to do these things."

From childhood gymnastics classes to surprise gifts as adults, Simone and Rachel have proven that true friendship really does last a lifetime.
