Olivia Dunne enjoys tremendous success on social media, as she often grabs people's attention. However, sometimes her popularity has also landed her in danger.
Last year, in a TikTok video she shared with her followers, the former LSU gymnast opened up about the "hostile" behavior from fans seeking her autograph. She described the experience as "crazy."
"Every time I go to the airport, there is a group of 10 middle-aged men, and they harass me," Dunne said. "They will yell at me and make a scene. The people around me are scared. It's crazy."

She is pretty popular on social media with around 5.2 million followers on Instagram alone. However, before moving into content creation, she was an artistic gymnast in college.
With the transition in her career, her popularity has increased, but even as an athlete, she has suffered incidents of unsolicited behavior from fans.
When Olivia Dunne Called Out Those Who Questioned Her Social Media Posts
A startling incident that happened while Olivia Dunne was in college was highlighted in 2023. Back then, she missed an LSU opening meet event, and fans in attendance screamed loudly, saying that they wanted Livvy.
The fans' reaction went viral and attracted attention from people online, and some reportedly blamed Dunne for her social media presence for the boys' behavior at the event.
A few months after the incident, in an interview with Elle, Dunne called the trolls.
"It’s not a girl’s responsibility how a man looks at her or how he acts, especially when you’re doing your sport and that’s your uniform," Dunne said. "I can’t help the way I look, and I’m going to post what I feel comfortable with. It’s hard to handle at times, definitely, because I am just a 20-year-old student. I think people do forget that.”
Despite criticism, Olivia Dunne maintained an active presence on social media and is these days looking forward to her acting debut.
She is playing the character of a junior lifeguard named Grace in the "Baywatch" show, which is set for its premiere in early 2027. She is again making a new transition in her career.
